Recently we hit our local dump station a couple miles south of Moose Pass and our friends could not believe how well we scored. We found collector firearms and knives, we came across a coin collection valued from its company at $320.00 brand new and these looked in mint condition. Boxes and boxes of old hard back books ( I should mention Mona and I are book collectors and I believe our library is over 1,000. But we are trying to thing it down now). I do not remember everything we pulled out, but it was one of the better hauls we had ever made.
What also amazed me was how much food and clothes were thrown away. There were so many thrift stores who could take the clothes and sell them to raise funds, or taking the clothes directly to the rescue homes and letting the workers hand the clothing articles out. Now the food, if it was open it had to be trashed, but if it was still sealed, then why not hand it out the same way as the clothes. There is simply too many hungry people out there. Sadly, for too many people, you do not notice them and just think of them as drunks, passed out from booze and you don't bother to check on them. But this person, female or male, is passed out from hunger or from the cold and he are freezing to death and because you didn't bother, they died.
Our world is losing so much of its compassion for our fellow man. Even the Pope is now preaching for an understanding between all of us, to take care of one another, no matter what God we serve. I believe in the one true God, the Holy Trinity, but I also feel its important to come together in unity, as mankind, loving one another and only then is the hate gone and we can then open our hearts to feel rightful Creator and Holy One. But so much hate, so much war in our hearts, how can we offer up love to anyone.
Author's Note:
My blog, so I wanted to once again advertise my published book, "A Coming Storm". I a few days I'll type out the synopsis for the book again. I believe the hard copy is still $17.99 and the Kindle copy is in the $5 area. You'll find it on Amazon under my name. Before writing the book and naming it, I never knew how many people wrote books that had "storm" in the title. So, its under William Casselman. Please if you like the story or hated it, seen in your remarks to the publisher, he e-mail address is in the book.
Now I am awaiting work from the publisher on Apache Snow on when we might get this on on the shelves. He's busy and the final edited copy came in late. Now if you are the type that likes my writing and wants to see the Vietnam War book, send an e-mail to my publisher letting him know you'll purchase a copy.
Oh, I wanted to tell you all, and this will be mentioned twenty-five or more times in the next 100 or so blogs, all of the author's profits I make from this book- Apache Snow, will go to the Moose Pass Community Church. This is a promise I made 15-years ago...maybe it was 16 years, that if Apache Snow was published than God would receive all my profits. I simply wanted all of you to know that the money will be used for the Lord's ministry.

Oneida High School, Oneida City, Tenn. : Public prayer was banned, which prevented anyone from using the school public address system for the traditional time of prayer before kick-off. But following complaints from atheists and civil rights leaders about school property was being used for these prayer, it was banned. But then the school allowed a moment of silence. But it seems the school cheer leading squad got tired of this and one Asia Canada (interesting name), felt the traditional prayer, which was possibly 80-years old, was not going to stop. Asia faced the stands of her school and began reciting the Lord's Prayer very loudly. Within a short time, others were joining in until up to thousands of people from both stands were involved in this. Without being urged on by school personnel and having the right of free speech, the cheer leaders were not in violation of any law. This was a private person's stance against the enemy and it may be catching fire throughout the Bible belt. ( I've written you about making your stand for your faith, this was one example. Time to be counted.)

In August, over 6,500 Communist Party Officials were punished in China for breaches of their anti-Extravagance Rules for the one-month period. Violations included using public funds for buy gifts for themselves/family or other parties, holding banquets and using taxpayers funds, pay for holidays(which I'm not sure what this involves as it did not give details), living too well at taxpayer expense. Investigators use a "8-point " set of rules to judge public workers/officials under suspicion.

Illegal alien school-aged Hispanic minors will soon be costing the American taxpayer a whole lot of money Washington has failed to mention. 533 kids from Mexico, illegally here and now in Jefferson Parrish, Louisiana will soon add $4.6 million in property taxes for property owners for this year. (Now this may be a grand gesture by the Obama Administration in an attempt to gained the Hispanic vote for the democratic party, but its going to be all the parties who have to pay the school taxes to educate all these kids. President Obama and the wealthy politicians needn't worry, but us homeowners living payday to payday, any extra tax is going to begin taking food off the table for our own children. This needed more thought and a vote by the House of Congress or a U.S. vote, note an Executive order by one man who is showing a lousy record so far.)

North Korea says U.S. Prisoner Mathew Miller of California, who attempted to swim into North Korea and was seized by their soldiers, tried in court and sentenced to 6 years, has stated he wanted to be the "Second Snowden". He wanted to provide U.S. Intelligence to North Korea, but he didn't have any to show. They believe, as with others, Miller was entering North Korea to go to prison and file a report on their Human Rights violations. Unfortunately, now North Korea suspects this and it is unknown what they plan to do with Miller now. Send him to prison for those 6 years, have him disappear or shove across the border to make points with the United Nations.
Well, I'm getting tired. I put a double ?? on the Himalayan Pass story. It makes little sense why China would volunteer to help a Hindu State to make their pilgrimage easier. Not unless that pass is a route through that range that ends in the Indian Ocean or close to it. True, China has a lot of money, but they are either communist or Buddhist. Still with my End of Days military mind I smell something..
