Issue 03 Published October 15, 1985In the third issue we continued to add clubs and restaurants to the listings. A couple more advertisers signed on. The magazine was still 20 pages with cover.
Bob Comments: Selling advertising was starting to take a lot more time. I was still doing all the interview transcribing, copy-writing, layout and editing of the magazine. We were still juggling columnists. They would submit their columns on floppy disk if we were lucky, but more often they were printed copies that I had to retype completely. This also took quite a bit of time and by now sleep was hardly ever an option. |
Quite a few nights at three or four in the morning, I would hear Michelle call out, "Come to bed, you can finish that in the morning." Of course, the next morning was usually deadline time, so I would tell her, sure sweetie; I'll be there in just a couple of minutes. Yeah, right... |
