Tomorrow, the 10th of May is Mother's Day and I wish all of you blessed women a very Happy Mother's Day. I pray this on this particular day, you will truly feel blessed by the wonderful children you have brought into this world. You deserve this day, so please take advantage of it and enjoy it. day off if you can and enjoy it. Hopefully, it will be a day of rest and relaxation, and a time to just feel good about yourself. No, Mona didn't tell me to write this.
Personally, I miss real news, where the story was simply reported without prejudice or owing allegiance to some political party. Slanted news is no longer "just the facts" and look at the mess all this other stuff has caused us over the years. I am a retired police officer and prefer going by supported facts that I can weigh against other reported facts to get the true story. So much of today's news is like looking into a bottomless pit and hoping there might be a layer of truth to it.
A good dear friend of mine, someone I trust wholeheartedly, sent Mona and I an item which had a 10-year police veteran and former soldier, providing his view on what is currently happening out there in the real world and how disgusted he was about it. I wanted to take a moment and say a few things myself about his subject. I truly agree with him when he said he was weary of seeing and hearing about all of the law enforcement officers, be they city, state or federal, violating a person's constitutional rights. Oh it happens all to often now as surfers were being arrested on the beaches for violating the lock down and /or social distancing. Or for all those Christians who have a constitutional right to attend their churches. I mean they are coming together in a prayer of unity for their brothers and sisters in the Lord, and for all the lost souls out there. Who else can free us of this pandemic if not the Lord? This world of ours has seen a whole lot of pandemics sense the Lord created men and women, and through it all God prevailed. But, who ever is truly running this whole operation that centers around depriving us of our constitutional rights and what their intent truly is, I know my Lord will prevail as He always has. I've spoke several times on Agenda 21 and 2030, and if you've checked into these you might understand where I'm coming from, they intend to strip us of our rights and privileges, guaranteed by our constitution, and apparently lead us into a totalitarian regime. I'm giving benefit of doubt to some of these police officers who feel they must take these actions to enforce certain mandates because they simply do not want to lose their jobs and have to rely on others benevolence to feed their family. But I feel it is getting to the point where enough is enough. We are actually beginning to see such events as what happened in the mid-1700's, when the British wanted to rule our lives, our thoughts and take what they wanted. Eventually, the PEOPLE said enough is enough and took a stand. True, we fought two violent wars against the British to hold our own, but we had RIGHT on our side and with the Lord's help we prevailed over tyranny. We cannot say our country is governed by the Constitution and then go out enforce illegal mandate that violate said rights. We, as police officers, had a code to standby, to protect the innocent and use the recorded laws to keep the public safe. I hope and pray that with all the arrests I made in my career that I was just, that I did not violate an individual's lawful rights. If I did and had not repented of it, I know the Father will remind me of same when my time before the Throne comes. For as we all know, I am not perfect, but as a police officer, for which I am proud to say I was one, I attempted to do my best.
We may be at that point where individual officers must rethink their stance and remember the sacred oath they took. The same for all of those who served their country in the military, we took a similar oath. We swore to protect this country from all of our enemies, foreign and domestic. Yet, it seems to me that there are a lot of people forgetting the words of the oath they took, in some cases out of fear, maybe intimidation or possibly graft....Some people may call such actions illegal, a violation of one's self worth, even cowardly to not take a stand. But I say to those officers who are not truly doing their job as they promised to, there is a rapidly growing army of cops out there who truly wish to be on the Right and have grown weary of said mandates that violate our RIGHTS. Not being allowed to attend church, where we join in corporate prayer to help one another and help the world to be a better place is so very wrong. I'd rather face a judge over the issue then have to stand before my Lord and mutter how "I was told not to".
Oh, I know writing such things could get me into hot water, but just maybe its time for me to make my stand known. I am totally against what the people in charge...I'm not just talking about the President here, but also what was termed as the money lenders in the old days. The people truly in power who do not want to lose that power, even if it means wiping out two-thirds of the world's population over the next 50-years. Forced immunizations, new laws that violate the constitution our fore fathers fought so hard to bring about and were clearly on the right as they knocked out the world's strongest military in that day with a mostly a civilian army of patriots. We may need to take such a stance again and possibly in the near future if we want the rights of our Constitution to remain in place for our children to live under.
Wear a mask or be arrested, social distancing of 6 feet or be arrested, stay home or be arrested. Will they are now showing evidence that continuing to wear a mask can be detrimental to the wearer as said person continue to recycle his air instead of getting fresh air into his lungs. Pumping serum into our veins that has not been completely tested is completely fool hearty and forcing it on infants who have not had the time to grow and acquire an immune system is a good way to lower the population. Those agendas I have spoken of lean toward "dumbing" down the populace so it can be easily controlled and also lower the numbers of people walking the earth. Take out a race here and there you might find unfavorable through selective engineering and pump it out through a mandatory needle. Hitler was for such a thing, he had hopes his scientists could find such a serum that would wipe out the Jewish, the Gypsies and races he felt inferior to Whites. And still to this day, we see Hitler being raised up. I just read a story about a neo-Nazi beauty contest, where the ladies were to speak on why the love Hitler still and how his ways should be exalted. What crap... the man assassinated a lot of my Jewish relatives and those Romanian Gypsy relatives of my brother Larry.
Well, I'm getting long winded here but I felt I should express some of where I'm coming from in these issues. Police are out there to do their job and abide by the oath we held dear. If they cannot, they should turn in their badges and find another line of work. People need to be able to trust in their law enforcement officials and that is one of the reasons I enjoyed working in small departments. People learned who I was and what my job entailed and I made a lot of friends on the job by adhering to my oath. Said people would end up saving my life because I was able to gain their respect. Even when I may have to cite them for speeding or running a stop sign.
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox. Besides I need to go outside and start digging my rifle trenches and set my trip wires. But seriously, I know the day could be coming down the pike when this could become a reality. When a army of God trusting people might have to rise up to protect the words written in that sacred document, the US Constitution. I believe in it, I've fought for it and if needed, I will fight for it again. Five will get you ten I get some official call after all my key words sets off alarms in one of those super computers in Nevada.
I am currently writing the prequel to "A Coming Storm" and the yet unpublished sequel "The final Challenge", where a band of Christians, chosen by the Father, are about to commit themselves to a smaller version of the Biblical Exodus. For here, in the City of Phoenix, Arizona and right after a World War III surprise attack by China has left the United State decimated, a special group of people, many complete strangers to one another, leave behind their homes for a memorable and often a highly dangerous journey north to Alaska. For a major battle is to be fought in the Alaskan interior, covered in "A Coming Storm", and the Lord is calling up his Chosen to be on site for this event.
True, books do not seem to be a high item of entertainment right now, but hey, it gives me something to do and I feel I am obeying my Lord in writing these stories as He provides the dreams and the visions I have received since 2012.
Please, if you're not already doing so, please spend time in the Word of God and if you feel a particular mandate, or even a law is unjust, stand up and be counted. As the old saying goes, I may not agree with you on an issue but I will fight for your right to express your view.
Back to the world....We've had a lot of rain recently and we are gradually working our way into becoming gardeners again and chicken raisers. Still have to build the new chicken house. We expect Susan Smith to be visiting us again the end of the month and look forward to seeing her again. She spent a lot of years living with our family here and contributed much into making things work here. She's been up in Fairbanks for a time and felt a visit would be nice. Liam, our oldest grandson and who lives with us, is interviewing for a job at a retail business known as "Wildman's", located about 15 miles from here. We have another young man here by the name of Donovan who is waiting for Job Corps to open back up. He and his mother own on of the school bus/RV on our property. Our church here remains closed due to the virus, I may not agree with it, but due to my physical problems I am unable to attend very often. So, I try to spend time in the Word of God to help me remain rational and not go out into the back country to find a big bear to wrestle with.
I had a dear friend way back when who always wanted to slap a moose on the rump before he left Alaska. Will, I helped make that happen and he did actually slap a cow moose on the rear and then ran so fast he nearly left me behind and I was the one driving the all-terrain vehicle I was out training him and some others on. We had this 10-passenger snow-cat I was licensed for and I would take new people out during the summer to train them on its use. Odd thing, the moose didn't even chase him, which is what we expected. He was able to sneak up behind it, thankfully it was without a young one and also not a bull, and he flat-handed it on its rump once. The moose just shook its head, took a quick step forward and then just wander off into the trees. I figured it must have thought it was a bee sting or mosquito bite. But my young friend went back to the states happy to have achieved his mark in Alaska lore. We do some of the dumbest things for entertainment. Me, I enjoyed helicopter flights over unfriendly lands and working with patrol and sentry dogs. but we tend to grow up eventually. Still, while I eventually learned how to surf, my one son took up the skill by van surfing in his youth. Standing a top a friend's van while traveling down the road at an unsafe speed. It makes one wonder why the Good Lord let us live, but He did and we eventually grew up. I still wonder how my moose rump hitting friend fared in civilian life.
Some good news: Leo Wakefield Senior, my brother-in-law, who took that fall and was hospitalized, is now safe at home with his lovely wife, Sally. A lot of prayers went out and were thankful for all of you who added your own to his cause. We rely on such and again, thank you.
All for now. I do hope your days are filled with happiness. And you do not agree with me in my views, I am happy you have the freedom to have same. Believe it or not, I do not always agree with my wife...but don't tell her that. Remember I'm old, crippled and...shall we say imaginative.
God Bless, BILL/Appa
