The Adventures of Jason and Bo is a heartwarming story set in a small rural Alaskan logging town.

The boy enjoys his life and has a great relationship with a wonderful friend named Bo.

Through the story the reader is taught not only about Alaskan life, but is transported into a tale of human struggles and adventure as they set off into an early winter blizzard to find a lost girl.

This book contains lessons in trapping, life in remote southeast Alaska and how to deal with prejudice and fear.

Throughout it all Jason grows and learns as he strives to find the young woman and his place in the world while dealing with being different.

About the Author

Alistair Harden lives in the Interior of Alaska with his loving wife and their dog Brandy.

He came to Alaska in 1989 and has lived all over the state. He now resides in the Interior of Alaska out beyond the power lines.

He has made good friends with many Athabaskans and still hunts and fishes with them to this day.

Mr. Harden now lives off-grid with a few solar panels, hauls his own water, enjoys gardening, writing and the life of an Alaskan.

With a love for outdoors and the great state of Alaska he has used his knowledge and experience to write about a young boy and his dog Bo.
