Yesterday May 6, 2021, Lexi celebrated her birthday. She turned 10 years old, and is now considered a senior. Where did the years go? Although she is my registered Emotional Support Animal, sometimes I'm not sure if she is my ESA or if I am her Emotional Support Human. Probably a little of both.
She is often very clingy and needy, But ya know what? I wouldn't want her any other way. We need each other. She loves to cuddle and snuggle, she loves to give kisses. And she loves going to work with me. And on days when she isn't able to go to work, she greets me at the door when I arrive home. What a welcome home she gives me.
