Soldotna and I am trying to catch up on "Blue Bloods", the cop show. Finally a decent police show, a bit hard on the drinking, but the TV family of cops are three generations of Irish cops.
We were hit hard by the rains, but now under our second cloudless day. The moose seem to like this yard, which upsets the family dogs. One weighs about a pound, but doesn't know it and is a real scrapper. The big one is close to 75 lbs, an estimate, a bull terrier, who believes he is part white shark and part Abrams Tank. The scrapper loves to take the big guy on and he's no puppy...one of those Mexican sand sharks with big eyes, and has bladder control. Now do not get me wrong these are great dogs for my 4 year old granddaughter to play with and once they approved of me, I was even allowed to be around her without fear of having my throat removed or an ankle nipped.
As some of you might have seen, my second book-"Apache Snow" a Christian Vietnam War story has been released. Now on Kindle and very soon in book format via Amazon. At some future time the sequel to Apache Snow- "In Search of Honor" will be published. I continue to work on Book 3 of my Arizona Rangers series. I now have obtained the services of an editor and we're excited as she corrects all my grammar mistakes. This is what I get for missing all those English classes in school to work out for the current sports program I was in. Of course back then I never thought I would pursue a career in writing.
Apache Snow is about loss innocence and the loss of one's faith in the Lord, but how many regained their faith over time. I started writing this story around Operation Apache Snow, but then stopped. I decided to change lanes and
write about my time over there. Suddenly, writer's block hit. .So, I returned to the original story line.
Computer acting up and trying to erase my paragraphs. So, that's all for now.
