Greetings Earthlings and the few Teddy Bears who stuffed Moose who read along: What a fantastic day it is, here in Seward and once again I'm on the library computer. Out in Moose Pass we had an early rain and then it cleared off to provide a warming day and BUGS. Yes, August in bugs month here in Moose Pass. In the house, the car, on the dogs & cats- who become buses to bring an assortment into the home. The dogs can open the front door, so this allows additional bugs to enter. Oh what fun as we strike, smash, kick and stomp our friends. Outside its okay, we leave them alone mostly, but inside, they've received a death sentence. Mona hates the 8-legged none nondescript spiders. I hate mostly mosquitoes. This comes from having malaria, I feel every one of these flying dragons is carrying another malaria virus and I'm out to protect my wife from having to catch this. But they say no malaria, but then add possibility of West Nile Virus. But the spider bites leave wounds that resemble moon craters or comet strikes. Must be the stuff in the air.
