Another coolish afternoon here in Moose Pass, with a light wind blowing. Birthday Report: it was a very nice day, though I ended up spending my day in bed- new medication. So, everything was brought upstairs for me to enjoy. Canaan made a wonderful meal and baked a beautiful birthday cake, thankfully without all 65-candles on it.

I wish to apologize to everyone who received my earlier Journal for today. Due to my lousy hearing, I didn't hear exactly what I was being told. I thought my wife was telling me that my dear friend Vicki had died from her cancer. But, she has not died, but is not expected to come around and may be going to be with the Lord when the Man upstairs calls for her. She is surrounded by family and I'm going to end this here. I am extremely sorry for sending out false news. But, please hold her family up in prayer. Knowing my friend, I'm sure she would have a smile on her heart for my mistake. Thank you. BILL
The morning weather was a bit on the cool side today, this Thursday and the house is mostly empty with only Mona, Susan and I at home. Susan is busily working on her math courses, while I'm here on the computer and Mona is catching up on her reading. Once I'm through with the journal I will go to work on my current manuscript. All the books I ordered to be sold this summer have arrived in the mail. I'll place them at festivals, fairs, Bible stores and some gift shops- as well as Amazon and through my publisher. My current manuscript is Book 3 of the "Badge and the Cross " Series, currently titled "Homeland Security".
Hello to Everyone: A cloudy day here in Moose Pass, house is somewhat quiet as three of our adults are now employed full time for the summer between Seward's boat harbor and Moose Pass's Trail Lake Lodge. Another young man to arrive soon and he also has a job waiting for him at the Lodge. Makes me wonder if they could use an old man to wash dishes? Or maybe I'll send Mona.
Okay, so this journal arrived in only 3-days. But, I had so many news bites I thought I'd get it out now. Seems to be a lot happening in the world right now, and these are only the pieces I suspect are not being covered in the U.S. papers. But again, I could be wrong on that.
Greetings to all on this fine Spring Day. Recently, we were surprised by another dropping of snow, but it's almost all gone now. It is yard work time and thankfully, we have two strong lads here to help out. Firewood to gather and cut, veggies to plant and books to write.
