I believe it has been a bit more than a week since our last contact, and I realized my news research was piling up. It appears there is a lot of things on the fire around the world and tensions are high in every hemisphere. But, things tend to drift to the busy side when summer us upon us.

Yesterday, I was about 30-seconds away from sending out my most recent journal, when the whole thing vanished and I could not reclaim it. I even checked my drafts, it was a no-go. This has happened before, so I knew well enough to close the computer down and walk-away before I did anything destructive.
A friendly greeting from the community of Moose Pass and our beautiful Chugach Mountains of Alaska. Another warm and beautiful day here, with just a dabbling of fluffy white clouds, following a brief rain fall last night. But, the bugs are out in force, being pursued by the swallows and bats.
What a wonderful day here in Moose Pass, with temps in the high 60's and only a few clouds hanging around. I'm finally back on the computer, having spent the last few weeks in and out of bed. But, I was able to get a good amount of reading done and watched several dozen movies with my lovely wife. Mona has been terribly ill with a lung infection, but she is coming out of it now and yesterday we took a drive to Seward just to get out of the house and check out our local scenery.
