Another Saturday, with mild temps here and our snow is almost all gone. Patrick and Canaan celebrated his birthday and they've added a very small kitten to their household. Nice to have around to handle the local shrew problem.

Middle of April, time is going by all too fast. About 8 or 9 days ago we had another snow storm, dropping about 6-8 inches here and now almost all of it is gone. A lot of greenery showing through, meaning a lot of dead leaves from last fall to rake up. Mosquitoes haven't shown up, but the Swallows haven't shown up yet either. I recall I called them sparrows, but in fact they are swallows. I enjoy watching them buzz around, chasing the bugs and then later, teaching the young ones how to fly.
Howdy there, Folks: Boy, we sure got hit with a bit of winter a couple days ago- snow, blizzard conditions and when it was done we had only 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground. Guess the winds took most of it elsewhere, but it sure pretty while it was falling. Today is cloudy and down again in the plus 20's. Should be spring weather, but it seems to be hold off. Thankfully, our friend Chad and his plow came by and cleaned our lengthy driveway, he also does the church's driveway next door too. A real fine gentleman.
