AS you all know, tomorrow is Easter...So, Happy Easter to everyone. Yes, it is sort of unusual to have it come on the 1st of April and the first Sunday of the month at the same time. For atheists, they'll be thinking it goes well for an April Fool's Day, but I do hope they come to know the truth before their judgement day comes about.

Good Afternoon: We are having a very pleasant day here in Moose Pass. We had expected rain or possible snow, but the clouds all blew over the mountains and left us with a sunny day. This is also a quiet day here at the house, as Mona and I are alone for the day. The kids- Patrick, Canaan and their two children have traveled to Fairbanks for a few days- it's about a 460 mile drive one-way, but highly scenic at this time of year. April is around the corner and Spring can be fantastic in Alaska as the snow melts, the plants, flowers and trees bloom and the sparrows return from California.
Greetings to All: I hope you are all having a nice spring day. Here the snow is melting, sun is shinning in a cloudless sky and Temperatures in the mid 30's. Great day to be in Alaska.
I am able to spend 2-4 hours at my desk, working on the editing of my 3rd book in the "Badge and the Cross" Series. First two, "Rookie" and "Stronghold", are in Susan Smith's hands for final editing. She and I are now working on the cover for "Legend of Silene". We found a lot of nice covers, but they were under copyrights and expensive to use. So, I've done the artwork myself and she is working on the lettering. Now, I have a big favor to ask of all of you, well the ones who have read my first books. Yes, I am still alive! Been a bit under the weather and have spent my time upstairs. Now for some good news-weather wise. We had quite a snow storm over last weekend- Thursday to Sunday and received about 4-feet of white fluffy stuff. Unfortunately, our plow guy was broken down and awaiting some parts until tomorrow or the next day. Kids did a lot of shoveling- not me! I can use the excuse I'm too old for that now, or too lazy, but I'll go with the old. True, I'm not really that old- will be turning 65 this May, never thought that would happen. My Mona turns 60 this June...hard to believe I'm married to such an old woman. Yet, she looks about 35 yrs old, while I look about 80.
