Put you into mind of four bleary-eyed people sitting boy-girl, boy-girl, in a railroad club car on on a late evening and their on their way to a retired General's lodge in upper Vermont. So, do you recall the movie.... If not, I'm not going to give it to you. You'll just have to ask your friends and show to them how little classic movie watching you do, when they laugh at you. Now my family grew up on this movie, but we have a couple new additions who had never seen it, to which they were promptly leaped upon, scolded and explained in vivid detail every second of the movie and I was reminded the days were numbered when this movie was required to play, once more.
I woke up this morning to mostly a clear sky, with heavy frost covering the ground and my 8 very large piles of leaves, that have to be carried over to the leaf bins still. Today ended up being an off day for me, or a day off. But we needed to get some wood from the saw mill. So a grabbed a bunch of manhood into two vehicles and retrieved two loads of scrap wood. This still needs to be cut up and stacked. But we also need about 16 more trips I believe to provide what we need. Then John Alex needed to run me into town for meds, errands and talk to a book store about carrying my book- A Coming Storm- for which they will start with 5 books and provide a write-up in local paper in Seward. I'll take the books in later in the week.
Then the snow hit us in Seward, but it had already come through Moose Pass. By the time we returned home, everything was covered in a layer of whiteness. I AM NOT READY, YET!

Watchdog Reports in Washington D.C., verify AFL-CIO Labor Unions remove mandatory union dues from union members, forced to pay these dues if they want this union job and said worker has no control over how the officers of the Labor Union spends their dues. Last year I wrote a story about how police officers were paying dues and the Labor Union was using part of their dues to print out coloring books that were anti-police, and the officers of the department had no control over the dues to stop the process. Now the AFL-CIO has proven itself to be primarily a Democrat Party supporter, with republicans forced to have their dues beused for the democrat's various causes and campaigns. For 2014 Fiscal Year, these big unions have spent $30 million in labor dues on POLITICS. The use the funds to support leading democrat politicians the head union officers choose to support with these funds. AFL-CIO reported "Political Activities" totaling $28 million and another $4.8 million in AFL-CIO payments to political non-profits reported as "Contributions, Gifts and Grants", or "Represented Activities". A lot of work is done within the gray areas, but it is the dues payer, the non- democrat who has no say, or even the democrat who may not want his funds used for these sort of issues and might consider classes on safety issues on the highway, or dealing with the building danger/risk of highway bandits. Such people are patriots and heroes.) The Army's active duty force has shrunk from 570,000 during the midst of Iraq and Afghanistan to 450,000 currently, with further expected cuts to reduce the Army to 420,000 troops. Now the army has recently deployed troops to Europe to boost NATO, as a warning to Russia, we'e sent troops to Baghdad to advise Iraq troops and Security Forces, we also have just agreed to a large 9,800 Adviser force to remain in Afghanistan, not to forget our sizable force in South Korea and with force now being added to the Philippine Islands and added to this is our 4,000 servicemen commitment to West Africa to help with the Ebola Crisis. The Army would further reduce the purchase of modern weapons systems to modernize a war-weary force. ( In the last 12-years, we have had U.S. National Guardsmen, signed up to defend their states individual states in time of emergency, riots, storms and if needed war, being sent over to Iraq and and Afghanistan for a 3rd-4th and 5th time. They tempted fate to the point of stupidity and most of them had such bad cases of PTSD, they actually prayed for that bullet that haunted their dreams and so many returned home to broken homes. We now enlist the brave Americans, give them a promise of 4 years and teach them a trade. More than that the country gives them a promise, one the no longer honor. Now we sit back and FIRE these troops as if they were seasonal workers in some department store. Army was supposed to fire 80,000. But as I wrote a few days ago, President Obama has this great plan to enlist 1,500 illegal immigrants. I'm sick by all this. American service members should never be treated like this. It rate right up there with Post World-War One when the President ordered enlisted troops, mounted and on-foot, to fire on veterans, who appeared at D.C. peacefully, asking for the bonuses they were promised by the President and Congress and they decided not to pay it. A sad day for America. History again repeats itself. )

This one is called, CONVERSION AUTHORITY FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATORS (special agents)OF BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, FOREARMS, AND EXPLOSIVES. This order makes little sense in that an Executive Order was not even required. This same need or promotion could have been handled simply enough through the office of Department of ATF Secretary's Office or even of one of his many Directors. It would not need to be reviewed by congress or bypassed them with an Executive Order. This whole thing carried a stench, so I delve deeper into it and knowing a little about lawyer speak and how they try to hide things, I suspect I may have found one reason they used the Executive Order- as follows- The Executive Order is to be carried out by the Director of the Office of Personnel Management and it is listed under "Implementation" listed in Section 2. Speaks real innocent and something you might read right over and forget all about. But it swings a broad stroke-
"Shall prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to IMPLEMENT this order." Wow! That right there gives amazing authority to this director, could be classified limitless if needed and its all covered by a simple promotion...a degree of power. But that's not what the President is giving out. Try to imagine, you live in a nice friendly town, a beautiful neighborhood, and there comes a knock on your door. Two men in off-the- rack business suits present you and everyone else in town how the federal government, to IMPLEMENT its new ATF training programs for supervisors, will have to vacate and the land is flattened for a new ATF training school, shooting ranges, driving courses, explosive training ranges and dog training yards. You may or may not be paid a reasonable market value, but you will be out within 30-days. This Executive Order has just given the Man that power and that's why he by passed congress and general policies would have not granted that power. I am betting we will be seeing more of these orders. President Obama supporters denied he ever wrote Executive Orders to confiscate your vehicles, your guns, your food or even have you put into camps. In truth, he did not wrote those. President Franklin Roosevelt wrote these in the event of of problems back in the country, when all the soldiers were off fighting and there were so many Russian supporters, racists and simply put - bums, he was afraid of attempting a revolution. We know he never had to use those, but they stayed on the books. ( With our State Department endorsing it, it will be used in the Federal Law Enforcement Academies- Customs to US Marshals Service.
