United Nations: Ebola Crisis- experts still handing out the data of November 10th. Reporting 13,268 cases and 4,960 death.
World Health Organization: No update report since November 7, showing same numbers as UN.
IRAN:Intel Report: Iran's storage of low enriched uranium gas has grown 8% to nearly 8.4 tonnein about two months. (This is when UN atomic inspectors arrive and will probably say, they'll want this gas reduced with any nuke deal with Iran. I also suspect the inspectors, working from prior intelligence provided will be search for the new bomb chamber. Iran may have been experimenting in the process of hurriedly constructing their own nuke. This could explain the average quake at 4.6.)
Russia: CNN cable news channel has announced it would end Russian broadcasts in 2015. No reason or exact date provided.
Israel: 16% of Israeli Defense Force soldiers have dropped out, citing economic distress. Pay to be raised up to NIS 1,1000 with troops having earned only NIS 433 for Home Front troops- Combat Support having made NIS 628 to Combat soldier WAS earning NIS 863.
Troops were complaining they couldn't eat on leave for they didn't have enough money
to do so, and too many were having to rely on family for financial help. ( This was much like the times for the US Troops prior to WI and 1930's thru 1946. So American Troops went on leave an stayed with parents or other parts of the family.
Hong-Kong: Pro-democracy campers were warned by a Senior Hong-Kong official that they will not allow the protectors to live on the streets. They would now move or face arrest, to leave peacefully, "Leave the roads, which are being 'unlawfully occupied'."She did not say when the police would act to clear the streets. This event came about yesterday because Hong- Kongs high court had ruled these Occupiers could be arrested.
Iraq: US Army has dispatched 50 troops to an air base in Iraq's troubled Anbar Province to help in the fight against Islamic State. (And so it begins.) Troops are to examine the base's facilities and prepare support for Iraqi troops. Anbar, now largely under Islamic State control, was previously an al-Qaeda Base. Base was also a hotbed of resistance forces in 2003, so the American 50 would have to be careful for old mines set in place by Iraqi, American, Russian, Iranian and even Egyptian. 50 Americans were to act in an adversary role, but were authorized to protect themselves. ( Sending in these 50 has a foul stench about it, reminding me of the goat on the rope trap. You send in a goat tied to a tree, soon the predator attacks his meal. Now a trap is used they spring it or if its for a hunter's trophy room a kill shot you might have to make yourself. But the military uses it to, by sending a patrol in to get a company of the enemy to jump you, never knowing a superior force is closing in. I've heard it being done by the Japanese in WWII. But we adapted it and used it in Vietnam. I know, because me and partner for the evening were playing the goat.
Portugal: Outbreak of Legionnaires Disease in Lisbon, Portugal has killed 5 and left 230 others infected. WHO calls the outbreak a "Major public health emergency." This is a pneumonia-like lung infection caused by Legionella Bacteria. Source of the outbreak has not been found, but Legionnaires can be caught by inhaling infected water from an air conditioner, cooling towers or other artificial water supply systems. Identified by the US in 1970's it appeared at a hotel which was hosting an event for the American Legion. Japan outbreak in 2002, France in 2009 and Scotland in 2012.
England: Prime Minister Cameron backs court ruling to deny benefits to jobless EU migrant. He is also seeking further Welfare restrictions on EU migrants. Cameron feel that EU migrants should not automatically be able to claim benefits for up to 5 years. He did agree with right to work across EU countries, but individual countries and their banks should not have go broke by influx of migrants, who desire to live off a benefit package instead of going out looking for word. Both Britain and EU being hit heavy with North African Migrants, who survive great danger in fleeing the battlefields and their livelihoods. But the sea claims a share, for the people in these homemade boats rarely knew how to swim.
Germany: Court has ruled that Germany may also deny benefits to jobless EU migrants. ( I believe this ruling and action if used for Germany, EU and England will come back to bite them in their backside. In olden times, the king who had vaults filled in gold would let his people starve, to sleep in the woods, in caves or under a bridge. Now he needed an army to stretch out his borders to plunder from others. But he found his townspeople had disappeared, so the king, refusing to give up, marched forward with only his palace guard. But the other king was out in the line protecting his own, he swore to his father not to give an inch. When the greedy king came forward he was stunned, for there before him stood his townspeople, wearing the colors of his opponent. Risking his life, the Town's Mayor came forward, but did not bow. But the glare on the king's face had appeared before the failure to bow. "I cannot, no I will not...I cannot even suspect that you could ...you would have left me. What does this mean." "It means, my enemy, this king is not greedy and shares his riches with others. No one goes hungry, everyone has home and we work, but not as slaves." Our allies of former wars have been wined and dined by the Chinese, while we spent most of out chasing insurgents. Already Canada and Australia have become international currency hubs for the Chinese yuan, with a lot of other countries participating to take us down, the US became number two.
Poland: Rioters versus police in Warsaw, with water canons and rubber bullets were used to push back several hundred masked men, who had broken away from a scheduled far-right
march. They threw rocks and burning flares at lines of riot police. Far-riot groups consist partially of traditionalists, people who desire a return to Poland's older traditions. They were marching for Poland's Independence and for a 4th year in a row the march has turned into a riot. More than 200 arrested, many for carrying items that could be used as a weapon. Many of the Traditionalists Poles feel they are being harassed by their attachment to the Catholic Church, its opposition to abortion, and their country now allowing abortions, and now the country's new hankering to recognize Same Sex Marriage.
Australia: Prime Minister Tony Abbott of Australia says 200 Australian Special Forces Troops are moving to Iraq in the role of ADVISERS, to help Iraqi Troops off the Islamic State.
Israel: Palestinian officials risk their own lives if they step forward and denounce the recent wave of terror attacks. Even Palestinian Leader Abbas, pressured by Secretary of State Kerry wouldn't criticize the so called heroic operation for ramming a car into a 3 month old infant . It was said that Kerry and others from the west, Abba is truly not authorized to make any concession for peace with the West. He'd rather argue with Kerry, than be denounced by his people and assassinated . He knows the people, that the radicalized would quickly strike out at him if he was say anything "against the killing of Jews".
WHO: Reporting a new update- 14,098 cases and 5,160 deaths. This is now the largest Ebola virus in known history.
Turkey: 3 U.S. Sailors on shore leave in Istanbul, were attacked by an estimated grouping of 20 radical Turkish. They pelt them with rock, then garbage, and then they dropped trash bags over their head. One of the attackers said, ""because we define you as murders, as killers, we want you of our land." Another assailant said, recorded on video, " "Damn America!" Sailors made it back to their ship.
Russia: Moscow announced Russia's long-range bombers will conduct regular patrol missions from the Arctic Ocean to the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico- a show of muscle reflecting tensions with the West over the Ukraine Crisis. Russia speaking with several counties to allow portage for ships bringing part for the aircraft if permission to use the air field was granted. These are Algeria, Cyprus, Nicaragua, Venezuela andCuba, Seychelles, Vietnam and Singapore.
Ukraine: US says, "Russian-Directed" offensive has started Ukraine. Prime Minister of Urkaine calls for Emergency United Nations meeting, while Russian soldiers' mothers estimate 15,000 troops have been deployed, "We are now, evidently seeing fighting between regular Russian and Regular Ukraine forces in Eastern Ukraine. "Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bidt said on Twitter, "Swedish foreign Minister Carl Bidt said on Twitter. Captured Russian were paraded before news cameras, but Putin responded by saying this was simply a Russian that had gotten lost."
IRAN: Tehran announced its test flight of the Iranian copy of an American captured drone in 2011, was a success. Both the American drone and Iran's copy, resemble a miniature USAF B2 Bomber.
US: Federal Government invests $10 million dollars developing and promoting of a video game to assist people with obesity. In the game a young teen must escape a town full of fat people. ( I can't help but wonder, how many people we could had fed a basic meal to for a year and provide housing....okay, do the math. Say $2,600 a month pay and mortgage is 1,000. How many people could we have helped with $10 Million?
US: Made public for the first time and found completely by accident, was the Federal Bureau of Investigation's 1964 attempt to blackmail Pastor Martin Luther King into committing suicide . The letter was written by a senior Bureau Investigator William Sullivan, who was now a Deputy to J. Edgar Hoover, who despised King for when he accused the Bureau of not doing enough to protect Black people in the South. This letter was signed "Anonymous" , with Agent Sullivan posing himself as a disillusioned Civil Rights activists. A heavily censored copy of the letter was later published,"But it was not until writer Beverly Gage, a historian from Yale University, unearthed an unredacted copy in the National Archives, while researching a book on Hoover. Cassette tap was also with the letter and it contained some of the wiretap recordings the FBI had made on Pastor King, There was enough to verify some of the accusations in the letter. Both spoke of King's many extramarital liaisons. Sullivan wanted to shame him, but he and his closest advisers believed this was yet another ploy by the FBI, but so far the most serious in how the Feds wanted his life. Unfortunately, Kings sickly wife-Coletta opened it first and handed it to her husband when it first arrived. They also mentioned on the letter how King should kill himself in 33 days. That part of the letter confused all until some spoke up and reminded everyone of how Pastor Martin Luther King was to receive the Nobel Peace Price in 34-days.
There are a lot of hateful and weird stories about J. Edgar Hoover. But I concede that through his toughness we have the police force labs we have today. It was him who shoved the politicians around to get more money to build more labs, get the computers and superior weaponry, photo and fingerprinting equipment. J Edgar Hoover knew police work need long distance communication strictly for police network. He also favoring bringing in highly educated men and turning them into the type of agent they wanted. Ex-cops had to quit thinking like a street cop. He was now an investigator and Hoover either created or heavily endorsed the use of stake-out observation. ( When I worked for the State I pulled a lot of that work.) And of course female agent had to fit into a certain mold and it was a long time before a female actually made field agent.
Time to go. Need to do some book work tonight. God Bless to you all, BILL
