Book report: I wrapped up my 1st draft of Book # 11 in the Fire & Ice 12-book series. I finished with a sub-story of four New Zealand escapees, who took advantage of the mega quake, that brought down the prison walls. The four quickly began their climb up into the mountains and took refuge in a empty lodge. I've put a lot of new stories into the series, some of them I had pulled out of "A Coming Storm" because the original draft was much too long. Over a thousand pages. Now I'm into the last book, which seems to be a bit longer than the other to complete the series. Chapter 12 covers the the deaths of some main characters, who will join with Return of Jesus Christ, as members of the Heavenly Host. There is also the final battles between the Oriental Alliance Pact forces and the Alaska/Canadian forces at Fort Greeley. The Anti-Christ is destroyed in Europe as he leads his forces against Israel. But part of the OAP is also headed for Israel . A large battle takes place and Satan is captured by Heavenly Forces and thrown into the fiery pit. But the story isn't over yet. No, the thousand years go fast and evil returns to plague the Christians, who have now regained the ability to speak with the surviving animal kingdom. But as humankind and the animal life turn to evil, they lose this ability. ( Supposedly, it was believed that Adam and Eve had this ability in the Garden of Eden, but lost it when they departed there). So, I tossed it in. But, the enemy grows in numbers as the people fall before Satan's temptations and he sets sail to invade Israel from the ocean side, with overwhelming numbers. And, sailing is what I mean. This has become a time without pollution, where Jesus, the reigning King, bans all mechanical machinery. No engines. So, the watercraft are confined to boats, and some very large sea galleons, with multiple spear-like weaponry, as Satan's 1200 ships of the line invade and Jerusalem finds itself under siege. I'll leave the ending for the reader. So, you see this 12th book may be a bit thicker than the previous 11 books. Once finished, it all goes to Susan to edit. Probably an all winter project. But she has two other books to edit first, along with all her school work. She is working on receiving her degree through on-line sources. I think she is busier than I ever saw any college kids were in their classes.
Now, for those of you not aware, our home front will soon be enlarging, with the addition of two-more children. A 3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy...I think it's a boy. But these are Patrick and Canaan's nephew and niece. They are becoming the legal guardians for these two and bringing them here once all the hurdles are jumped. They're still up in Fairbanks working through all the paperwork. The plan is to construct a small house on our front yard, a 12 foot by 32 foot structure that arrives here almost finished. But need insulation, electricity wired in and inside walls put up. Comes with a front door and two large windows. They'll be putting a wood stove in, so our supply of wood will be nearly doubled, especially with small ones. Mona and I always seem to be helping in the raising of kids and young adults. We've all prayed about this and the Lord answered one prayer already. The State of Alaska said that the kids couldn't be raised on the same property with John Alex, because of his prior criminal records. But, now that has changed and John will not have to move out. Besides the kids, he also helps in taking care of me, for which he and Canaan out paid $15 an hour by this new Voice Program implemented by the Feds to assist in the care of the elderly and disabled. I'm sort of in that second part, considered disabled. But I still haven't returned to my wheel chair yet. I do tend to fall down now and then, with people running far and wide not to be caught underneath me. I try real hard not to do this in public, partially in fear I might destroy some expensive property. Sort of like Godzilla going Tokyo. Weird its spelled that way but Americans all pronounce it as if it was spelled Tokoyo. Check spell check, that isn't even a word. Now very few of you know this, but when I was a Dillingham cop, I worked for a police chief I tended to refer to as being "a cocky little rooster". He was very small, but also a 3rd degree black belt. So, after we handled a bar fight together, he nicknamed me "Godzuki". For those of you not up on your Godzilla movies, Godzuki made his appearance in "Son of Godzilla". Once of those tragic monster flicks. He once yelled it out for half-the-town to hear it at a major bar fight-turned riot. We made 16-arrests and sent the others home. All 5 cops responded to that one and it happened during the Fishing Strike of 1981. Now, I was being called it more often then I would like, but in time I got used to it. Some of the names the chief had for the other officers were not so nice and I will not print them here.
Now lets hit the news front: From the events of October 2nd thru today, the 4th.
Gatestone Institute News Service: Turkish President Erdogan wants Israel to withdraw its support of the Kurdish People in their desire for Independence. But, at the same time, Erdogan strongly supports statehood for Palestine. "Hypocrisy abounds in the international community But, that should surprise no one..." the news reported. While the Kurd's were a staunch alley in the US War to topple Saddam Hussein's empire, the US now fails to support the Kurdish people in their drive for Independence. Why should anyone accept us as allies? The Kurdish people are still making war on ISIS, our mutual enemy, but where is America ? American college students and faculty demonstrate for a Palestine statehood, but where are the demonstrators for the Kurdish people? Is it because the Kurdish people are mostly Christians? More than 90% of the Kurdish people voted for Independence from Iraq. But in fact, this lands of the Kurdish as always been theirs and part of it goes into Turkey. President Erdogan does not want to lose that territory and also have a Christian nation at his border. The Kurdish people first lost their land at the end of World War One, then later, Saddam made it permanent by killing off thousands of the Kurds. Now Iraq says "no" to an independent state, and they have now called for the arrest of the Kurdish politicians who arranged for the vote. (I am reminded of two similar instances of World History, when the American rebels defeated the British and their German mercenaries to make the United States. There was also the event of this little rebel force stood up against the British and then the Arabian Nation to form Israel. Then proved themselves in the 6-Day War, defeating 3-Arabian Nations is so few days. People tend to forget that as Jews and Christians, they feel that what God has given them, they will not give up under political pressure to allow Palestine to become a state on a lot of their property. Even America tried, announcing Israel would return to the pre-1967 borders. But they had talked to Israel about it and President Obama looked quite foolish when they simply said, "No" on TV. This became a very memorable moment on American news.
American Liberty Report: ( This is a new source I am checking out, but not to be included in with a dozen other Patriotic news sources, which I found some to be a bit strange.) NFL Rules- "Employment contracts may be varied, but when it comes to the National Anthem, the NFL has a rule book for how players will act." This rule book specifies that players must be on the sidelines for the anthem. They should face the American flag, hold their helmets in their left hands and stand at attention for the National Anthem. Failure to do so can be punished by fines and other disciplinary action. Players are violating their NFL contracts when they kneel, raise a fist or remain in their locker rooms, (Not for those being treated for injuries and under the care of the team doctor. or trainer.). But the NFL and the team owners are taking a cowardly approach to the whole situation. They've decided to respect our Flag and our National Anthem, just as the players have. Remember, this is the same NFL that banned kneeling in prayer during any part of the TV broadcast. The NFL brought the hammer -down on a new-"Great" player, a quarter back with a winning record, and now Tim Teebow (spelling?) is playing baseball. When all those Dallas police officers were being killed in ambushes, the NFL refused to allow the Dallas Cowboys to place support stickers on their helmets. But they've allowed the league to put stickers on their helmets for dead football players. Let's think about what the kids are seeing. We may see fewer and fewer boys going out for high school football. ALSO- Anheuser-Busch, the Official Beer for the NFL, is considering dropping its sponsorship because of the player protests. Such demonstrations are being found to be unpopular among the everyday Americans. People are growing weary with all these millionaires behaving like children.
Gatestone News: Austria- A new set of laws requires immigrants from non-EU Countries, to now sign a "Integration Contract" which obligates them to learn written and spoken German, and to enroll in courses about the "Basic values of Austria's legal and social order, the democratic order and basic principles derived from it." There is also a massive religious shift underway in Austria. Traditionally a Roman Catholic nation, now shows the Muslim population exceeding 12.5 % of the country's population and still growing. Muslim student now outnumber Catholic students in middle and secondary schools, and will soon outnumber the Catholics in the Viennese elementary school. "The immigration seen in recent years is changing our country, not in a positive way, but in a negative way," Stated by Austrian Foreign Minister, Sebastian Kurz. One of the new laws also ban full face Muslim veils in public places and prohibits Islamic radicals from distributing the Koran in public places. Muslims feel these restrictive laws will promote, "Islamophobia". ALSO- According to a new report, leaked by the German Government, there is 6.6 million migrants, currently waiting to cross into Europe from Africa. Well, that was a lot of news and I skipped a lot of items. One Muslim woman had said that had the Las Vega killer been a Muslim, there would be no talk of gun control. I tend to agree with her. But, I am still not giving up my guns and they'll have a lot of trouble finding them- especially in my yard. Though I do keep my bear gun handy, also makes a good home protector for stupid bad guys. Besides, I have those 5 ankle biters that sound off when anyone, even us, comes down the driveway. And yes, the smallest is the noisiest. I wish you all a very nice weekend and God Bless all of you.
