If you haven't already heard it, yes- I slept through the 7.1 earthquake. I woke up and Mona had to show it to me on her handheld computer before I believed it just wasn't one of her nightmares. Our house, embedded in bedrock, took up most of the shake. Not a thing was tossed off the shelves and believe me, we have a lot of stuff on our shelves. Apparently the epicenter was approximately 159 miles from us, but 7-pointers can really spread out. Out Soldotna-Kenai and Anchorage- Wasilla stores took a lot of damage in fallen glassware. We were told the liquor stores and condiment aisles kept the night crews busy.

Normally this time of year we could see minus 10 to even minus 30 degrees, but for the last week we've been at plus 30 to over 40 degrees. A lot of rain, ice and entertained with watching people falling down and making strange profane sounds. 3 people in our house have been bitten by the ice snake. But as for me, I can do some really weird Gene Kelly dance steps just making it from the truck to the house. Mona will often help me as she doesn't want to have to pick up my 230lbs. We've had the driveway sanded twice and that usually calls the snow god to sprinkle 3-5 inches , but within a week we will be back down to the sand again. We have a slanted driveway and the people who rented the house before we bought it lost their truck off the side of the driveway. It was parked for the night and when they came out in the morning it had disappeared. We've taken steps to keep that from happening again.
Have I told you about my fan base? Now, whenever I sit down to type I have 3 to 5 dogs and 2 cats lying on the bed at my elbow. Once they go to sleep I am able to hear their snores and other noises these critters make in their sleep. Oh what fun. Every day I have to clean my keyboard of cat and dog hairs and my chair of other "special" animal donations. Strange, after our big dog- Radar passed on, he was a Newfoundland who had become a member of our family and helped raise our children, we didn't think we'd acquire another dog. But we now have the 4 ankle biters and Susan brought into our home her miniature toe biter. Now I desire a very special canine, a Blue-Eyed Malamute, but the puppies cost like $2500 a piece. Then one day I saw a Russian Bear Dog online, which you are acquired to buy both the female and male and they are twice the size of any American or German canine. Price for the pair? I didn't ask. But what a dog. Has the head of a Grizzly and you see it's photo and you can see why it was named Bear Dog. Sort of the earth-like Chewbacca.
I've been working on my Geronimo story, but unlike all the other stories this one comes from the Arizona Ranger angle as Book #3 in the series. Book # 4 will concern the Arizona gunfighters of the 1870's.
It becomes hard when you get into the lives of the Southwest Indian tribes. Similar to the North and Midwest Indians, they tried to have faith in the promises of the White man. For most of the tribes they had no falsehoods, no lies. They learned to respect the American flags and the white flag of truce, only to have it used to trick them and kill off so many of their leaders. Geronimo was one such Indian who had grown up through these turbulent times and learned how the White man used such white flags to ambush and kill, of how the White soldier only wanted to kill off all of the tribe, to include women and children. His heart had hardened with the loss of his family when he had fought the French and the Mexicans, but in his deep hatred he included the Americans. He killed the settlers that trespassed on the Indian land, faced the soldiers of both countries and defeated much larger forces with his desert skills, knowledge of men and use of positions. But now he faced the Arizona Rangers, men who were better than the others and their leaders knew how to campaign Indian-style.
By this time in Geronimo's life most people would consider him old and probably in need of a cane to help him walk. Now small in stature, he could still probably out climb and soldier, out shoot a good 2/3 of the whole American and Mexican Army and survive out in the desert for weeks at a time, with his pursuers had given up to ride back to the comforts of a fort or encampment. He could still go without water for 3-4 days and even much long without food. Plus, a not a man in his group would defy him. Both Arizona and Texas Rangers understood this and trained likewise, akin to the Special Forces of modern times. It would be such training that would be later used by the American Special Forces groups and much of it was owed to the Apache and the Sioux, along with a great number of tribal warrior groups.

Hey, I noticed an article in the paper concerning the big gas leak in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, but it failed to state the degree of danger the area was in, how much was released. Makes one wonder if this will turn out to be another Flint story.
You'll notice nothing has been reported lately, or I at least haven't found it, concerning all the radioactivity escaping Japan everyday and going into the Pacific. No story lately on the Japanese township utterly laid waste. Has Japan and the US placed a total blackout over it or have I missed something while my computer was broken. Weird how many fish and large aquatic mammals were dying and they blamed it on ocean weed. I may have mentioned it before, its sort of like when the US advised Director John Ford was told he could shoot the movie, "The Conquer" in the same desert area where an A bomb was tested, without advising them of the health risk. They did this on purpose and Ford shot three other John Wayne movies in the same area. Sadly 2/3 of the actors and crew have died of cancer.
Now NOA, who is government funded, released a report saying the Alaskan waters and shoreline have had no ill effects. My concern isn't the shoreline, its the critters. We've already seen the misshaped fish and I for one will not eat anything coming out of the Pacific. Sorry folks, after what I saw in Vietnam and the cover-ups, I no longer trust my country, except in hopes my VA check will continue to arrive. Remember, Vietnam was started on a fraud. 58,000 men died for nothing and now its been announced we might have to keep our troops in Afghanistan for a lengthy spell- maybe 10-20 years. You know who gains from this- Defense contractors, the same people who made President Johnson create the the Gulf of Tonkin Incident off the Vietnam coast and kept him in office with their funding. These are the same people who support a lot of our politicians in office to keep funding our planes, trucks and tanks, our rifles and mess kits. All to keep certain people standing in the green, a $20,000 golf club in their hands, with a smile on their face and no care in the world for the little man or woman who is sick from the latest test- possibly population reduction scenarios over extended time periods- like the City of Flint or new plagues.... Hey, I may use that in my next doomsday book- lead piping and a governments response time to it.

Netanyahu was quick to condemn Ki-Moon's statement, saying Moon is a long term advocate for the Palestine State, and is concerned with Israel's settlements casting doubts on any chance of peace between the two states.
(Many of the members of the United Nations and the European Union desire Israel to give up the land they won in the 6-day War. But to give up such land would provide Israel's enemies easy access to attack them as they tried at the beginning of the 6-day War. Even President Obama tried to pressure Israel into giving back the land on a TV interview, but Israel surprised Obama by standing up to him and simply stating "NO". I'll never forget the look on our president's face when that occurred. In 2015 500 journalists were fired in Turkey, 70 others were subjected to physical violence, while 30 still remain in prison and all for writing article critical of President Erdogan. Seems these people need a 1st Amendment.

President Obama has announced that trade goods made in the West Bank of Israel will not be labeled Made in Israel, but instead they will be labeled Made in the West Bank of Israel", or "Trade Goods of Israel". This is to be done to separate such goods from the State of Israel and will further case a separation between Israel and the political machinery of the United States.
( President Obama appears to be doing his best to cause problems between Israel and the US, but he fails to notice how the American people feel a brotherly hold for Israel. Far too many Christians and Jews will put up a fight to save Israel and possibly that is his plan.
Now he may issue a Presidential Pardon to Hillery if she is indicted. He may also cause such problems in the country to prevent the election from being held. This could have happened in 1944, but Roosevelt was just so popular even World War Two wasn't enough to stop the election. They all knew he'd win and if he didn't, he had the Executive Orders in place to maintain power....the same powers Obama has found and knows he can use. Such as seizing your foods, your guns, and vehicles, closing down highways and waterways. Roosevelt never used them, but he never removed them and with spider webs covering them, they laid in wait for a Presidential Aide to find. But Obama is careful, he is not ready for insurrection.
Still, could he be making his initial moves. He earlier promised to close down Afghanistan, but has just recently reversed himself and is sending troops back over there with plans to maintain a balance of at least 6,000 or more. Now that is a good way to keep a division of Special Forces out of the US. Will he be sending troops to the Philippines? Our boats are returning, removing some Marines. Now don't forget his 2008 speech ... or was it 2012, where he promised the public to build up a sizable force, equal in training to the army, to serve the people. If you haven't thought about it, hunters and target shooters have been restricted on the amount of .22 ammo they can buy. Usually its never there at all. I've only found four boxes in 2 years. The US Government is keeping all the .22 ammo....why? Also, why isn't enough being made for both the government and civilian's needs?
Another thing to help you sleep better is how every new car is being equipped with GPS, so you can know where you are and how to find the local pub. The government knows where ever you are and a single signal can be sent out to a very tiny chip in your device and they know where you are and your car no longer starts. Only those with a special device can lay claim to the vehicle to move it, but by that time you are either on the run or standing in some fenced in enclosure. Now everyone wants those fancy new cars, but its the old ones that will still be running and a new rebel force will be given birth to.
Our population is growing too big for the programs, for the foods being grown and the water that is safe to drink. The filthy rich will decide it is time to reduce the numbers and decisions will have to be made. So many movies have come out, a lot of them to actually prepare the people so they will then turn on the mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, diseased, the lost and poor, criminals and so many other categories. They'll have to make a choice, join the system, possibly take up a mark of obedience. Now you can eat.

This is what I tried to show in Book 3 of A Coming Storm- concering what occurs when the 1,000 year reign of the King ends, He vanishes and Satan is once more released upon the world to tempts and destroy. It is during this 1,000 year reign that animals and man will once more be able to communicate with one another, but they lose this power when they fall before Satan and join his army. The final battle occurs in the waters out Israel where the two war fleet meet and Christians are now greatly outnumbered and forced into a retreat. Eventually the battle makes its stand in the City of Jerusalem, in the Temple oft he King, which is rebuilt on David's Temple to God. This time it is Christians and their animal companions against Satan, his demonic hordes and dark armies.
