Been very warm here, fire ban in place, which prevents us from burning our bonfires. Sadly we lost nearly a quarter of our library to the earlier rains, after the high winds blew the tarps off the boxes. A lot of them saved, but far to many to burn.

Publisher has okayed all aspects of the Vietnam book and should be out very soon. Sometimes I forget how long the procedures takes, especially when they have to deal with the feds for all the licensing. Elizabeth did the cover and we think its a winner and she hopes to re-do the cover for A Coming Storm. I'll also be sending my first two western books on to my publishers and I 've started the third in the series. Still planning on a 6-book series with mostly the same character group. But some are killed off or die of sickness. This was a hard time in the settling of Arizona.
My time is quickly winding down and the computer simply turns off. So I will very soon be signing off. All is fine at the house. Canaan and her husband Patrick, with baby Solomon have moved to Fairbanks. Liam is working as a dishwasher at the lodge and now John Alex has gotten a job at the Liquor store in Seward area- the owner goes to our church and he just loves having John working for him.
