HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU WHO FIT INTO THIS CATEGORY. I know that in watching my lovely wife for the last 37-years, that being a mother has got to be the hardest job in the world. The days are long and they never cease, so I salute you ladies. Thank you for the job you have put in. I was very close to my mother and I watched the pain and the joys her four children put her through. But being the baby, I admittedly received the best over my siblings. And I so hope my children understand all the work their mother did for them as they grew up.
The home schooling, all the soccer games, the dating and sons in the military stationed in the sandbox. I imagine this is why God the Father used the rib from Adam to produce Eve, to make her the stronger of the two to handle childbirth and all the years to follow. Salute your mothers, for its been a lot of work and for those of you only in the beginning stages, God bless you for your life ahead and increasing joy as you watch babies become young children. Prepare them for their teenage years, give ear to their fears and open discussions for their concerns. My mom always listened to me and it was she who prepared me for Vietnam and 20-yrs of police work. May the Lord watch over you.
I didn't make it to church today, for I dislike having a bad day and my friends seeing it. Plus, I'm unable to take my chair with me. Last night, I tried to make my special chocolate chip cookies, but they didn't come out the way I remembered. So, I stopped baking and let the dough cool outside and overnight. Same ingredients, but the came out flat. Tasted just fine. For today batch I'm adding oat meal to the dough, which is the way Mona likes them. I am trying to put some weight back on me. I consume pastries, fruit, veggies, plus Snapple Peach Tea, or Paul Newman's Grape Juice. I've gained a few pounds back by adding chocolate, but I'm thankful I'm not losing anymore. 193lbs was making me too thin. I am telling you this so I can have some extra prayers going out there. Help me maintain my weight at 200 to 205lbs. We've seen a lot of answers to prayers up here and all the glory goes to our Father. Also, my darling wife can use a constant flow of prayers to help her fight Fybromailga - sorry couldn't find the correct spelling in my spell-check, and her bipolarizism - spelling? This brings on some really deep depression, for lengthy period of time. Plus she is always worried...concerned with me. I've realized my time of working outside has come to an end, but it gives me more time to write. I'm being honest with you here because I know the power of prayer.

Lately I've been receiving 3 phone calls from India, a new scam, where they tell you your computer is receiving malicious items. Give us your credit card.... but they are persistent. Be so careful, there are far to many scams out there.
I have a request to all my active computer warriors. I'm in search of two special things and could use some help in locating them.
1st item. I am looking for a statue, called "Old Bill", this is and old west US Cavalryman, perched on his mount. Grey in color, about 12 inches long by 10-inches high. Just a man on his horse. I used to have "Old Bill" but it was broken about 22-years ago. I've been searching, but so far I haven't found the right site.
2nd item. Looking for a 10-12 in tall brass in color stature of the "Vietnam Memorial". This statue shows the three men standing together. I liked to have this because I based my Apache Snow series based on these three soldiers. I have a small one, given to by my friend Randy, after he went to Washington DC.
I appreciate any help I can get in finding these. Sometimes you stumble upon such things at a garage sale. I found a collector's framed wolf print at a garage sale, very large and easily worth more than a thousand dollars. Young Austin bought it for me for $35.00, as a gift. You just never no what you'll come across at thrift stores and garage sales. I love western, police, military and cartoon items...plus my wolves. I've got cartoon figurines lining my movie shelves. Drives my wife crazy.
I may have mentioned it, but this month I turn 64 yrs old and my wife turns 59 next month. So hard to realize I've been walking this earth for so long. As a 18 year old I would look at a 64-65 year old and see them as old people, geezers, old farts, .... list is long. Now I is one. I look back the things I've experienced, people I've known, and the Lord I found or He found me. Well, now I look forward to the next 30-years. I hope to write another 40-books by then.
As to my wife, I've never seen a more beautiful woman. Hard for me to believe she is approaching 59, while I think she looks 35. My hair is all silvery gray, while she may have 3-strands of gray hair. I really lucked out with this lady.
