Good Morning to all. Heavy fog for us here in Moose Pass, snow still avoiding us but giving the guys more time to get things done. Went into Seward yesterday and Chris bought a new chainsaw for the house. A Stihl, which we all have wanted for some time. They last longer than most.
Troy, talked with Rolf, who sells Stihl equipment at his big rental place. He's doing well and sends you a big hello and good wishes. Happily recalls the days you worked together for that refueling job. Said Kurt is doing well, too. He should with gas in town going at $3.55 a gallen. It is now worth driving over to Soldotna for gas, which is some 30 cents cheaper. But we wait until tank is nearly empty and gas can are all empty.
As you all know I peruse some 33 news sites most every morning. I often find it hard to understand how easily the pro-Trump and anti-Trump news sites can really differ on what they report. One of them has to be reporting fake news one day and the other sites have their turn. I remember when it was just ABC, NBC and CBS and they just reported the news. Now political opinions have stepped in and they all can be misleading at one point or another. Now I review some of the old news from World War Two and see how much of it was misleading. Its as if for ten years we had honest news people, somewhere between 1957 until 1967 and with the flow of Nam news coming in it all got so political. That's only my opinion, folks. But in 1967, the world began getting swamped with false stories about Nam. That's one of the reasons I enlisted and volunteered for Vietnam. I'd gone to numerous peace rallies at our campus and college campus. Saw so much hate from people who based all their knowledge on statements made by the radicals of the time. Very few of them were veterans. So, I wanted to see what I could see over there. True I learned a lot, but not nearly enough. I saw so many lies being told by both sides, I'm speaking of the communists against democracy, and the US versus Russia and China over this small country. Only a few years ago did I learn through several valid sources that our going to Vietnam was based on a lie. The North Vietnamese gunboats never fired on our destroyer. It was a a fabrication which enabled then President Johnson the opportunity to collect millions in campaign funds from the Defense Industry, whose representatives had come to the White House for chats with Johnson, those are on record, or they were. President Kennedy was advised to pull our advisors out of Vietnam, it was a war we could not win unless we went to war with China and Russia, but then he was assassinated. So very quickly we landed in a war where 58,000 plus troops died.You might notice our war officially began in 1963. Not to mention all the walking wounded who came home with PTSD and drug addiction, only to be cussed at and items thrown at us by the so-called peace-niks. I was cussed at and a college co-ed poured the contents of a milkshake over my head. I left the joint in tears, not for her but the friends I had lost. As for Me, my experience turned into a drunk, but God would later heal me of that 5 years later. You should all do your own research if interested. Or just put it back in the past and move along. I may write about that someday. But I did find it strange that when the info came out about the attack on our destroyer being made up, a month later or less you couldn't find anything being written about it. Someone may have applied some pressure, who knows. The lord will handle what needs to be handled when certain people come up for judgement. Me, I've got my own concerns about my own actions to work out. Repentance is something I believe in and I take it to the Lord whenever I pray.
You might recall when I advised you that at least here in Alaska our Yahoo account was hacked for several days. I really dislike hackers. Especially when they go after my bank account or credit account. I have learned it is better to pay for things with my credit card, which is also secured by my savings account so I can't get into trouble. But if someone hacks my credit card, its insured, while my checking account isn't.

Numerous shoreside cities around the world are taking drastic steps of save their cities as coastal waters rise. Singapore is one such massive city that is fearful as coastal water endanger them. God said He would never flood the world again, but I haven't read anything about reducing our landfall. Of course all the fires around the world are getting a lot of people shook up. Now ISIS is telling its followers to start wildfires. Not too smart, as people see their homes burned down. They are more prone to get angry then want to transfer their belief system their way.
