Another coolish afternoon here in Moose Pass, with a light wind blowing. Birthday Report: it was a very nice day, though I ended up spending my day in bed- new medication. So, everything was brought upstairs for me to enjoy. Canaan made a wonderful meal and baked a beautiful birthday cake, thankfully without all 65-candles on it.
Learning from the family in how they're trying to get me to gain weight, one of my gifts was a large gift bag filled with my favorite candy bars and cookies. I also received a book containing bags of candy that were ordered online, which also came with various DVD's I had on a list, for me to order when we could afford it. So, this was a real blessing. Very nice cards from friends and family, a cool balloon that drove my 4 year-old crazy, some cool e-mails for the new member to the elderly rolls and visits from friends and my children. Even at 65, my life in the fast lane is moving along, as I am back at my desk today. To all of you, I say thank you. Now I have my 75th to look forward to in 10-years. My mom was just two-months shy of 92 yrs. So, who knows how long this old man might be around? Unless the Good Lord needs me upstairs I aiming toward 100, to set a new benchmark for the others to meet.
June 19th is Mona's ....um, okay, I'll tell you. This will be her 60th and that's a big one for ladies. I may aim to begone that day, trouble is she is my driver. Still, I look back to when we were 27-me and she was 22. This was when we were married. 38 years have gone by, really great years and a couple with a few rough moments. But, the Lord has sincerely bless us.
Currently, we have a larger household as extras have joined our clan. This can make doing the dishes an all day affair and the laundry....it can become a no-trespassing zone until it can be divided up into white, colors, canned goods, cats & dogs, and items that were originally headed for the dump. Due to my color-blindness, I'm kept away from the laundry. I mixed too many whites with the colors.
For our friends and family, we have just received word that our sister and best friend, Vicki Williams is now dancing on the golden streets of Heaven. So, I'm asking for your prayers to be with Jim Williams, my brother and best friend, and their grown children, now together with their Dad, as the family comforts each other. The joy is in that Vicki got up there before us, but still there is the sadness that only comes from realizing it might be sometime before we see each other again. Another gifted musician and singer added to the Heavenly music one can hear in the right moment, on a beautiful spring morning and peace surrounds. We love you, Vicki. Jim and kids, you'll be in our family prayers. I love you, guy.

At first they accused him of referring to all immigrants as animals, but he was replying to a direct question concerning this terrible and violent gang of Southern California and other locations. But, Israel rejects their resolution. ALSO- Massive anti-Israel rally held in Istanbul, Turkey, with hundreds of thousands claimed to have attended by the Turkish Government. ALSO- Kuwait calls for deployment of an international force to Gaza, but Israel condemned the proposal. ( Just how many countries would want an international force on their border?) ALSO- UN Human Rights Chief announced, "Gazans caged in 'toxic slum' by Israel." (But, it was the protesters who attacked the border, setting fires to thousands of tires, threw Molotov cocktails and fly kites carrying kite bombs across the border. The Human Rights Council at the UN has been biased against Israel for sometime and the UN should look into this, since it is their agency.) ALSO- HAMAS issues call for more violence along Gaza Border.
