Greetings Earthlings and the few Teddy Bears who stuffed Moose who read along: What a fantastic day it is, here in Seward and once again I'm on the library computer. Out in Moose Pass we had an early rain and then it cleared off to provide a warming day and BUGS. Yes, August in bugs month here in Moose Pass. In the house, the car, on the dogs & cats- who become buses to bring an assortment into the home. The dogs can open the front door, so this allows additional bugs to enter. Oh what fun as we strike, smash, kick and stomp our friends. Outside its okay, we leave them alone mostly, but inside, they've received a death sentence. Mona hates the 8-legged none nondescript spiders. I hate mostly mosquitoes. This comes from having malaria, I feel every one of these flying dragons is carrying another malaria virus and I'm out to protect my wife from having to catch this. But they say no malaria, but then add possibility of West Nile Virus. But the spider bites leave wounds that resemble moon craters or comet strikes. Must be the stuff in the air.

About 500 miles wide and running along the west coast from upper Baja to Washing State and now parts of Alaska. Nasty stuff and its doing all kinds of things to the water, the bottom plants in the ocean and all the fish that eat the plants or the cycle of life where the little fish eat the plant and the bigger fish eat the little and so on. Hundreds of thousands of salmon missing, fish dying, nasty looking fish being caught. It was a nice article in the Anchorage paper, but not once did they mention the possibility that this blob could be caused by all the radioactivity from Japan. TEN years of 22 TONS being pumped into the ocean and unstoppable. Now no one is even reporting on it as far as I can tell. Has anyone seen anything in the papers or on the net about this being stopped, has it been cleaned up, has there being a government clamp down order put into effect???? I'm still looking for a giant shrimp- like Gorgo of English sci-fi or that big lizard on hind legs that continued to clobber Tokyo.
I don't have enough time to mention my feeling about this Bill to provide a 150 Billion gift to Iran. This is kind of us. If you check our history, we provided funds, weapons and TRAINING to the very armies we would later fight in World War 1, 2, Korea and Viet Nam. Ho Chi Minh, who commanded the North Vietnamese in South Vietnam was brought into power by us, trained and equipped to fight the Japanese. Then he joined the Communist and turned on us. Why does the govern think any different of Iran? Our politicians are cowards!!!!
